For Sale 6 Tap Kegerator: 5x Perlick + 1x Stout Tap! Las Vegas, NV

This was a fun project of mine about 4yr ago, but life has been busy and it has not been used to dispense beer in about 3 years so I've finally come to terms with selling. It is a great setup, fits 6 corny kegs, and gas tanks in the door. I spent $450+ on just the hardware. Gas manifolds also...

    10 gallon biab

I just did a 10gal biab in a keggle yesterday. I always use a little less water in the mash, then I will separate the grain into two fermentor buckets with grain bags while i start bringing the wort to a boil. Rinse them with enough 160* water to bring my boil volume to where it needs to be...

    Mango Pulp Wine

Costco is having a sale on the langers mango nectar and I am thinking about trying to make the wine with this. Can anybody see an issue with that? ($2 off, not sure what it will end up being but should be pretty inexpensive)

    Weird Occurance - Grain Storage

What's weird is that it was all at room temp. Unless somehow the co2 came out hot, then cooled once sealed? I guess that means it would hold up well to long-term storage :ban: I wonder how long it would keep in a co2 vacuum? Hmm...

    Weird Occurance - Grain Storage

I noticed a weird thing just a few minutes ago and was wondering if anybody had some insight as to what happened. I stored my 2-row in 5 gallon buckets with airtight lids, before closing them I filled them with co2 from the bottom up. I just looked at the buckets and the lids are concave...

    Cork sizes or...?

You could probably also get a bunch of wine bottles from a local restaurant. They typically just throw them out so they probably wouldn't mind saving them for you

Splitting a batch before or after pitching yeast

I suggest splitting then pitching. If you pitch then split you will need to continuously stir when siphoning into the two buckets in order to make sure that you don't get more yeast in one of the buckets. If you split then pitch I think you can more easily pitch an even amount into each bucket.

    10gal BIAB in Keggle Success!

I will admit I was a little nervous going from 5 gal to 10 but I am glad I did. Filling two fermenters instead of one for only a marginal increase in time makes me happy. I used a 24x24 grain that I picked up at my lhbs, it worked fine but it was not wide enough to clip onto the whole...

    10gal BIAB in Keggle Success!

I did my first 10 gallon biab in my keggle yesterday and I am pretty happy with how everything turned out! I used a corona grain mill for the first time and I don't have it rigged for a power drill yet so it took me about 40 minutes to mill the 19lbs of grain using the hand crank :( that...

Frustrated with Overflow & carboy debate

Put the blow off tube into a sanitized vessel and use it to harvest the yeast! :-) Or brew a batch of two days in a row and put the blow off tube into the second batch
