Kinks in Immersion Chiller: trouble or not?

I could not have said it simpler I do not think you need all these equations 50' of 1/2" tubing even at a slowed rate is still going to cool wort. It is not rocket science!

    Belgian wit pitched at 58

Ok I'm not in a hurry so I will wait till the primary fermentation is complete in the new batch before I crank it back down. Will the temp hurt the finished batch though, not concerned how long it will take to carbonate?

    Interesting idea

Figure that out, set the pressure, bleed off air in the head space so all you have in there is beer and co2, shake the keg, and I don't think you have to get crazy with it, I have seen some people roll ye keg back and forth. Then let it sit for three days. But like I said I am a beginner and...

    Interesting idea

Check this chart out it might help from what I have read, and I am a beginner it depends on the beer, and temp what the recipe calls for in volumes of co2 per liter. http://knoxhomebrewer.com/images/stories/Reference/carbonation%20chart.pdf...

    Too much water

Well, the og reading was 1.060 before I added it to carboy and then added 2 gallons of water. The target og was 1.055 I believe I was close to this if I had stopped @ 5.5gal ,maybe a little higher. At any rate the reading is now 1.014 almost there.

    Too much water

thank you for the advice it started to bubble again and looks good. I did rinse the grains after their steep for 45 min. so this should add some sugars to the wort, and may compensate for the added water.

    Too much water

I have not racked yet. "Primary" was in reference to the stage of fermentation.

    Too much water

When brewing my second batch of beer, (a belgin wit) i added too much water. It called for 5-1/2 gal. finish volume and I finnished with 6 I fermented through the primary stage, (only two days, and I had moved the carboy only slightly disturbing it while still bubbling and bubbling stopped) and...
