Nice job, the base I got with my CK is adequate with small dowel pins, but flops around while milling. You need 3 hands to keep the process going smoothly! I like your design, as it will hold the mill snugly on the pail.
I made the switch from extract brewing to BIAB a few months ago. I bought a 15 gallon pot with strainer basket all stainless. I use a paint strainer bag. I am very satisfied with the process and have been doing SMaSH batches to learn about the malts and hops.
I'm so glad I made the switch.
I'm currently drinking my first ever SMASH. Marris Otter with Citra. 3 bounces of Citra during boiling and 1 oz dry hopped with 10# malt and US o5 yeast. Very good combo.
