Good advice! Today is my 4 weeks in the bottle day for my Imperial Nut Brown also a BB extract and it is much better today than at week 1, 2, or 3. I enjoyed some along the way, but still have plenty now that it has matured some.
Thanks for the feedback, I am glad I had one tonight. I will prob have one next week, again for research. may start. ;) I would love to get a pipeline going, that is my goal. I had this in my primary for four weeks, and my, first bottle went way too fast!
Alright good folks, talk me out of drinking another one quick! :) I just opened a bottle of my second batch I've brewed and it was actually good!! This was a brewer's best Imperial nut brown ale. SWMBO helped me bottle it a week ago, and was a little disappointed I wasn't going to open one...
I too started with a Coopers DIY kit I got for Christmas. Mine turned out ok, although a little light on the abv (3%). Added too much water to get the temperature correct I think. But it carbed fine in 3 weeks or so and it is really easy to drink. I also then read all I could here and now...
Just did a imperial nut brown ale on stovetop and swmbo informed me when it gets warmer out, I will be doing my brewing there! Guess I am getting a propane burner soon. Lol, she is tolerant of the odor but not her favorite.
That is true! I told my wife I could really get into this! Just bottled my first batch and I am having empty fermenter syndrome! Miss checking on it. Will have to hit the home brew store this weekend for something new.
Thanks for the welcome!
Got a Cooper's for Christmas and found the site to be good info and help! Looking around at what others are doing has got me thinkin' this may be more than just a passing hobby for me! :mug:
