Just checked my 2nd year centennials a few days ago and was surprised to see it already sprouting up! snow just melted a few days before.

Just took a look at some of my hops that I planted last year, which I bought from you. They are already starting to sprout! I would definitely recommend you to anyone looking for rhizomes.

This is pretty cool, I wish I had thought of this for my wedding.

Oh man im sorry to hear that seabass, that sucks alot. I had something clip off the top of one bine, but I guess it didnt like it much because it didnt bother it again and it kept growing fine.

Here is an update, so far everything has sprouted except all 3 of my galena. not sure what happened to them. Do you usually have any trouble with them in particular?

Yes the hop bine does look like a tiny asparagus thing at first. It will grow leaves on it shortly after surfacing. Those other leaves do not look like hop leaves.

I live in hershey, so not so far from TMI. This is the first year for all of my plants but they are growing quite well, but not at all this much haha. Hopefully this time next year they will be that big!

so far 5 out of 6 centenial have sprouted, 3 out of 5 for magnum and none of 3 galena have sprouted (although I planted the Galena several weeks after the magnum and centenial) so I think they just havent had enough time in the ground yet.

I bought some rhizomes from him as well and almost all of them are sprouting! exciting stuff haha

Well i definitely will have the watering taken care of because halifaxhops gave me a bunch of drip tape to! and it was really awesome seeing how he had everything set up. His advice was a big help to.

They have so far....we will see if I screwed up anything once they start to sprout lol
