It takes me forever to dial in my "beer gas" on a 5 gallon keg, as well as degassing kegged wine on 100% nitrogen. I can't imagine ever having it perfect on a growler sized keg.

Yes, you can naturally carb (lower than normal) and dispense with 100% nitrogen. You could run into problems maintaining the correct balance over time in a keg, but the growler will go much faster.

I've had that happen once, but the disconnect I was using had a chip on the stem, causing it to make off-centered contact with poppet. Overall, I have more faith in them than my OG poppets. Especially because I'm sure I've mixed up my posts more than a few times, while cleaning multiple kegs.

My 3 gallon kegs are all the single handle kind, but I wanted to compliment you on these. They are awesome.

You using dry or liquid yeast? Oxygen isn't really needed with dry yeast and a moderate starting gravity.

I have wine fermenters with NPT fittings. Replacing Teflon tape each time isn't ideal, but it isn't that big of a deal. It doesn't look like there's any rubber on the keg. Boiling water could be used to sanitize the keg or just dunk the top of it into pan boiling water. I'll 2nd that it looks...

Nothing special. 10 gallon cooler with a bazooka tube. Bought it right before deciding to upgrade to an electric keggle and turning my boil kettle into a mash tun. Hasn't seen a lot of use.
