    Post your infection

Ok, so after a good looking primary, I racked to a carboy. After a few weeks, I noticed a white film on the top of the beer, but it was very localized and small. I racked to a new carboy and it tasted fine. Now, after about 4 days, this is what it looks like. Thoughts?

Tasted it. Wasn't too bad and wife said it didn't smell off to her. Might just move it to a carboy and see how it looks in a few weeks or something. Would that be a good move?

I opened my batch and saw this. Smell is pretty sour. Should I toss it? If yes, should I toss the bucket too?

    Stalled Fermentation?

    Joining from Alberta

No, I can't really claim to be from Rural Alberta. I grew up about an hour away from Edmonton on a hobby farm, but ultimately, it wasn't really the same as some of the people I know from a 'real' Rural area. I'm not really close to Montana, being more or less in the middle of the province.

I've been homebrewing for about two months now - I primarily started HB to make wine, however, I've started doing beer from extracts and all-grain kits as well. Anyway, just wanted to give a quick 'hey' to the community.
