I'm a recording studio owner who came by the profession in the usual way - you know, through astrophysics. Spent 20 years working on the Hubble Space Telescope. I still stay active in astronomy with a couple of observatories in my back yard - with automated cameras running photometric sequences of cataclysmic variable stars. At the studio, aside from the day-to-day stuff, I run a series of modern progressive rock showcases which has gained some recognition, mostly outside the Baltimore Beltway. My brother, who lives in Kalamazoo, MI (where I failed to grow up), is a homebrewer and is partly responsible for my deciding to try it myself. I'm married with cats (11 of them - they're my wife's passion). 58 solar orbits and counting!
