Cool this answers my question as well. This was my first year growing and didn't get any this year. Hopefully next year I will have better luck. I guess I will just leave them. What do you guys usually do with your lines?

Thanks for the info, I have to start thinking about my soil soon. My hops are potted at the moment but soon they will go into the ground. So far I have just tilled in some compost but I should probably get a kit to analyze the soil makeup and see what I need to add.

I just started mine in pots and I live in northern Idaho. We haven't been getting any sun though, I think they would be doing allot better if it was a bit warmer out. From what I understand there won't be much hop production for the first year, I am hoping to get enough for a few batches...
