Thanks for sharing Brewsday. I would love to have the chance to shoot a moos. It would be even better if the weather was the same as your hunt was. I'm not to fond the cold weather. 60 is about as cold as I like it to be I can handle 20's but I surely don't want to.

Wow that is awsom! Moos is on my bucket list. You have to tell about the hunt. Like what did u kill him with, did you stalk him for 10 miles (that's a long dam way) I would love to hear the story.
Well i got 2 does this year but i will try to brighten you up with some pic of my deer from 06-08.
first pic is my best deer. At 6 1/2 years it scored 152, and made P&Y :rockin: I shot it at 25 yards with my bow. It was the last day of the season I decided to go to a stand that we haven't...
I think I'm going for a light smoke something to add to the Canning, not so much drying on the the drying part. I am going to have 5 plaints growing so I might make a batch of canned and leave some on the vine for chipotle peppers at the end of the season. Thanks for the Ideas.

Its kinda early but does anyone have a recipe? I would like to smoke the little buggers first before canning them. Kinda like fire roasted or something like that.
We just got a suffer its a Uniworld. They are 1000x better than trying to use a grinder. We make our own hamburger meat. We were spooning about 1lbs. of meat into a vacuum bag witch takes forever when you have 40-50 lbs. to do. Now we are using the plastic tubes they are pre marked. and so much...
not sure how you live in that kinda weather. I'm bitching and its 31 here. I'm so glad i don't live there. Hell my nuts are hiding in my stomach. I don't even want to think about being in 0 weather.
Me and my Dad just made sausage this weekend. We made 25lbs and we made a %30 mix with good soft pork fat. is came out really good. Do not use venison fat it will rune you final product.
r8rphan as if I don't have the squirrels running on over drive right now but you just sent them on a turbo charge. That just gave me some good ideas. Thank you!
