Picked up a case last Friday at Bells General store. Went back in on Sunday to buy a couple of six packs for my brother in law and they were sold out. I just heard they will be getting more in soon.... but I have mine!

This might be something that he would want to be in on, definitely the sink anyway. However, I think if you stuck to basic painting and maybe tiling the brew area to get it ready, that would make him very happy I'm sure. Nice idea for a Xmas gift for the hubby!

None so far. It has a nice molded shaped neoprene seal and fits around the outer edge of the lid. It has a screw down band type clamp similar to my hop rocket that you just slug it down good and tight.

I have a 14 gallon temp controlled conical from Morebeer and I absolutely love it. I brew in my pole barn behind our house year round, when this summers Michigan temps got up to and over 100 degrees, I managed a consistent 65 degrees ferment temp with this unit. I was able to crash cool it down...

Yes, they're Bells mini kegs that I made can lights out of. Each one has the year it was kegged and they're different each year so a lot of people here collect them.
