    Caramel cream ale?

After reading all of the reviews that this beer has sparked, had to try it. My friend and I just bottled it today, and I could not stop sipping on the sample we pulled from the little bit that was remaining once the bottles were done. I'm lookin forward to it in a few weeks. Thanks Cheese

I definately can't help myself as well...most of the time they are silent, but that doesn't mean others aren't aware of em'....I was at my parents house after having a few HB, and they thought it was the Boston Terriers... :cross:

I left the lid on my first batch because I was using a stove top as well...no off flavors, beer came out much better than I ever expected. BUT...now that I know, will not take my chances again...Good luck

    My first stuck Fermentation

I did my first high gravity ale on sunday and I made a starter. The fermentation went well for the first 2 days and then it ceased. So I gave the fermenter a little swirl then it started up again for about 2 hours and then stopped. So I repeated with no results the second time. I gave it...

    Dark Cherry Stout kit

This sounds like something I would like to try playing around with. About how long are you boiling the fruits? My first experimentation turned out succesful....I added some honey to a batch I bottled tonight...uncarbonated it tasted amazing.

What should it look like in Secondary?

Sounds like you should just make a beer run...no one will want to drink your beer after that..which..isnt necessarily a bad thing I guess

    Honey in my cream ale?

Yeast I used was WL California Ale 001, and 2 pounds of a generic honey, I don't have the bottle handy at the moment. I didnt want to spend too much on honey since it was just an experiment this go around

    Honey in my cream ale?

While were on the topic, I just added some to my second batch yesterday which was at the desired FG. I was shooting for higher alcohol ratio so I waited to add it at the end, and it did just what I was told it would do, gave a second wind to the fermentation within a few hours. My question is...
