I was discussing the wine cellar bit with one of my fellow club members. So I think for Florida here, I'll buy a burial plot and store everything there until it time. [emoji12] I've done a mead once, and that sounds like a great idea. Braggott I haven't tried yet. Looks like a lot more...
I will be a grandfather come the end of May / June. Twins! I want to brew two beers, one for each of them. Don't plan on opening for 18 to 20 years. Has anyone done this? If so what style did you use or would recommend?
I gave in and followed the recommendations of my fellow Homebrewing club members and bought a Mini Co2 regulator and forced Carbonated it on Sunday and have been drinking it since Wednesday, can say it was a hit, and the keg is almost empty.
Bottling finally tonight, procrastinating comes naturally. If I need this beer ready for let's say next Wednesday, do I dare add extra priming sugar or just go with the recipe and pray to the gods of malt, water, hops, and yeast.
All feedback much appreciated for this lazy brewer. This was my first attempt at making mead. Might have over done it on my first time.
1Gallon of water
1lb. Of orange blossom honey
1 quart of fresh chopped Cumquats
I packet of Lalvin EC-1118 yeast
It's been almost 4 months since I tossed...
