Just used MS Word . . . which explains the boring fonts . . .I've got no skills for that kind of thing. And honestly, I only label a few bottles. Just the ones I give away. I use different cap colors to keep track of what I'm drinking -- too lazy to label everything!
Hey guys,
I made this brew about 2 months ago and LOVE it. Followed the recipe exactly except used sweet dried orange vs. bitter. The beer has a great orange scent but the orangge flavor doesn't overpower at all.
The beer was in primary for two weeks, in bottles for two before my first...
Did I ruin this batch?
Working on my first brew (so excited!) and I forgot to use water. I'm doing a kit with LME and hops. I started out boiling the LME which was really messy, being there was no water. It splattered a lot and I think I even burned a little of it. With all that sticky...
2ND the MidWest Honey Amber Ale (w/LME) . . . I just bottles it yesterday -- tastes fantastic. Can't wait for it to carb up. VERY good, VERY easy. I added the Honey for the final 20 mins of boiling. I could definitily taste the honey but it isn't overly sweet but not very hoppy either --...

Love the Tumbler .. and that is the perfect bottle. But I can't drink enough beer to generate enough bottles to keep up with the amount of brewing I want to do (plan to do anyway -- just getting started).
Can I buy those bottles somewhere?
Hey guys . . . the only new bottles I've been able to find are long necks. The short neck bottles fit so much better in the fridge and, in my mind, they look so much cooler. . anyone ever find any for sale?
Thanks for the comments . . .seems that the benefit would be speed . . .and it handles two tasks at once: chill the wort and move it to the fermenter. But getting the entire rig filled with fluid to start a siphon seems like it would make this too much trouble.
Thanks again!! Looking...
New to this so this may be one of those questions in which you answer "there are no stupid questions . . . only stupid people asking questions".
Anyway, want to build a Wort Chiller. What about a copper line that connects to my racking cane to pull wort out of the pot and into the fermenter...
