I spend a little time in the area and have been considering putting in a small home brew supply store. Was wondering how many homebrewers there are in the area and if Marysville/Yuba City would support a local supply store?
So I brewed a pumpkin pie brown ale. Had a huge problem with stuck a stuck sparge as the pumpkin was so stringy and sticky. I feel like i lost a lot of wort trying to get it fixed. Any advice for next time?
Welcome! As far as your yeast question I have never seen that brand. But don't ever be afraid to play around with all the different yeast strands out there until you find one you like! I have become a fan of California Ale and Irish Ale yeast!
