I've had my first batch in a secondary for nearly two weeks. Can you cold crash it if you're going to bottle (and need the yeast to carb), or is that only for kegging+forced carbing? If so, for how long (with bottling in mind)?

You won't be able to get it filled unless you can fill it yourself. I don't think it's worth the hassle/risk if you can't.

Chances are other beers you've drank were also brewed. Perhaps this is your first home brew :D :D

With little headspace in that carboy you could expect krausen to get into the blowoff bucket. sure as hell won't be mold growing in SS:D

You can just leave it. It will fall down after about a week.

I usually rinse... do people really not rinse and let/drink the chemicals in their beer?

This looks promising for a nice looking mod. I'm looking for something similar with a glass door, but this one doesn't look deep enough to hold a corny keg cause of the shelf that juts out.
