    Show us your Kegerator

Well if you start putting logos for steelers' superbowl victories you wouldn't be able to fit them all on just that one fridge.

    My First Beer

and it was delicious. A pretty hoppy IPA with nice bitterness. Great head retention and lacing on the glass! One of my favorite beers, although I might be biased:mug: Reminded me of Stone IPA This was 9 days into bottle conditioning. Trying about one per week as per some suggestions to...

A busy day w/ no homebrew for drinkin

So today I got my ingredients in and brewed my second batch of beer, an extract version of OFlannigans Bad Cow Stout. While brewing that, I bottled my first brew (a hoppy IPA). Thanks goes to Revvy for the spigot to wand over the dishwasher door method. Also while brewing and bottling I...

    Cold crashing question

I've had my first batch in a secondary for nearly two weeks. Can you cold crash it if you're going to bottle (and need the yeast to carb), or is that only for kegging+forced carbing? If so, for how long (with bottling in mind)?

    Is this tank usable?

You won't be able to get it filled unless you can fill it yourself. I don't think it's worth the hassle/risk if you can't.

    Obligatory first brew thread w/pics.

With little headspace in that carboy you could expect krausen to get into the blowoff bucket. sure as hell won't be mold growing in SS:D

Is this normal? (link attached with pics)

You can just leave it. It will fall down after about a week.

    Why Starsan??

I usually rinse... do people really not rinse and let/drink the chemicals in their beer?

My neighbors think I'm operating a meth lab

So they see all the pails, carboy, siphon + probably me naked working on it :rockin:, and stopped talking to me for 2 days. The guy asked me if I were making meth cause he was concerned about his family's safety, and when I told him it was homebrew and no it can't explode, he was much more...

    Kegerator/ezer search...

This looks promising for a nice looking mod. I'm looking for something similar with a glass door, but this one doesn't look deep enough to hold a corny keg cause of the shelf that juts out.
