    Flavor additives for Hefe?

    I've always used the flavoring additives (Blackberry mainly) by just pitching it into the primary at the same time I pitch yeast. Works great in my "breakfast stout"....nice and subtle and smooth.:mug:

    Why in the world would you RACK your wort into primary?? I thought "vigorous" mixing and pouring (to cause aeration) was the thing to do... :confused:

    Not a thing wrong with green glass as long as you keep it away from direct lighting. Most of us drink our bottled brew LONG before it has a chance to go bad from exposure anyway.
