HOWTO - Make a BrewPi Fermentation Controller For Cheap

Yeah, like a bread proofer (and apparently also as cheese cave, since some temperatures can be very close), which requires warm temperatures depending on your goals and etc. My friend is starting his sourdough journey, so.... I thought, well, why not? I'm also reading the BrewRemix...

HOWTO - Make a BrewPi Fermentation Controller For Cheap

Ah, gotcha! I was going to refer the Wiki to a friend that wants to build a proofer that can do cold and warm temperatures, but when I checked on it, I saw the mention of BrewRemix and this is where the confusion started, as it wasn't really clear how it started and if it's an improved version...

HOWTO - Make a BrewPi Fermentation Controller For Cheap

I'm a little bit confused about the BrewRemix. Is it a improved version (and seemingly, easier to install?) of the DIYBrewPi, but still using the same parts?

HOWTO - Make a BrewPi Fermentation Controller For Cheap

Yeah, but it's easily solved by using a metal pan preheated together with the oven and boiling water.

Humidity I don't think it's really necessary, but definitely will look it out and ask if anyone is interested in a translated version. Thank you for the link!

PT-BR. I mentioned in a group that I had seen a DIY project that could be adapted to a bread fermentation chamber and etc., and they were interested. But most of them doesn't know English, so it's unfair to those to share the content in English.

@FuzzeWuzze (Not sure if it's possible to tag someone) Can I translate the contents of the http://diybrewpi.wikia.com/wiki/DIYBrewPi_Wikia to share with a few people that doesn't know English but want to build this DIY project?

HOWTO - Make a BrewPi Fermentation Controller For Cheap

Thank you! All of those model are roughly the same price here, which is also the reason I asked. I'm not sure about the add-ons, but thought it's better having the possibility of adding things along the way. I'm sure I want to put a hygrometer sensor, a sensor for the room temp and a LCD screen...

A noob question: Can I use any raspberry pi? I mean, I noticed there is a new version (the RaspPI 3) and the RaspPI 2 have B, B+, a few ones which are 512MB and 1GB. Which model would be ideal?

HOWTO - Make a BrewPi Fermentation Controller For Cheap

Oh wow, it's easier than I thought. Thank you! About the peltier, I decided I'll wait for summer and see how it'll behave to see if it's necessary to change or not.

HOWTO - Make a BrewPi Fermentation Controller For Cheap

Hello, I managed to get a cheap thermoelectric wine chiller for my fermentation chamber, it's chilling perfectly, but its temperature control doesn't work, so I have no idea to which temperature it's chilling. If I do the DIY BrewPi setup, is it possible to connect it to the wine chiller...
