Leffe Brune (brown)- Any close clones?

A bit late with my reply :) I've found this while searching for the same clone you were - I haven't tried it yet though http://brewerschoice.com.au/leffe-brune/

    Suggestions for IPA hopping?

Yes, it's called pragmatism and sometimes it overcomes scientifically proven facts, but hey, believe what you want... who am I to tell you otherwise? :) or just try it yourself and find the answer :)

    INKBIRD ITC-1000F Keezer Temp Controller

why would you do that? the INKBIRD ITC-1000 works very well with a fridge, it does its job of turning on and off the compressor so no need for anything else. I use it for temp ctrl fermentation and it works great. But your call, of course :)

    Suggestions for IPA hopping?

Dry hopping DOES add bitterness, contrary to the general opinion that alfa acids need to be isomerised through boiling to provide the bitterness... My last IPA was not enough bitter after 1 week of fermentation [local shops storing stuff randomly, hence the results] but after dry hopping for the...

    Suggestions for IPA hopping?

If it's an IPA, use Citra!! definitely, you'll love it :) Cascade also works but Citra is amazing imo..

    Wiring help needed

okay, I've found the solution with the help of one friend and in case someone else will have the same question I'll post it here - it actually works! even if chances are this thread will never be read again :) 2 phases: the one coming directly from the power supply goes to main power source on...

    Wiring help needed

yes.. pin 4 is also phase, coming from the compressor... hence my concern... green/yellow is always grounding, there's no ground wire on stc-1000 so I left it aside.

    Wiring help needed

Hello I'm thinking to replace an old fridge's thermostat with the STC-1000 but I cannot figure out the wiring part. I seems I've got 2 wires for phase going to the thermostat: one directly from the power supply and the 2nd from the compressor. I'd assume I need to use the one from the...

    Temp controlled fermenter

Indeed... I came up with the same result - to buy a small fridge/freezer, preferably A+ or even less consuming and to change the thermostat with an STC-1000. Wine fridges, big enough to fit a fermenter, are rather expensive [even second hand ones] and consume quite a lot of power. And my...

    Temp controlled fermenter

I thought about getting a STC-1000 and connect it to an old [wine] fridge, but this box seemed easier and perhaps cheaper to make as well. I'll keep searching, thanks for the ideas. And yes, the compressors must be side up from what I know as well.

    Temp controlled fermenter

Hi everyone I'm quite sure this has been discussed/thought/debated/cremated, etc before but I couldn't find anything relevant by searching some key words.. I'm thinking about building a Styrofoam box big enough to fit a fermenter in, for which I would use the electrical cooling device of an...

    Complete Novice Here...

Yes, I agree on Palmer's book being the brewer's "bible" and I'd suggest reading A LOT [or watching videos, etc, whatever learning method suits you best] before investing money in anything, just to have a theoretical idea of what's what and how things work :)
