    okay thank you yeah my hydrometer seemed a little off but maybe because it wasn't distilled water it was just tap water. But, ill give it a few days and look at it again thank you guys so much cheers:)

    yes it was an extract batch it came with two malt extract containers which is where I got aa little confused it didnt specify to put both in or one so I put both in lol :o will that affect my gravity reading? I am gonna go down stairs and test my hydrometer ill get right back to you.

    So I figured today I would bottle its been in fermented for 2 1/2 weeks. while I have been santaizing my bottles I saw a bubble come out of the airlock. So I decided that I maybe shouldn't bottle or should i? any help I would greatly appericiate thanks.

    oh okay and I used the wyeast slap pack. so, you guys are saying it should be closer to 1.010? iam still trying to understand how to read it does it go by ticks after 1.00? so for example if its right after one that would be 1.001 ?

    Sanitizing help! Is this process ok?

    I have star san can't I just fill me 1st fermentor bucket with water and put some star san in and soak the bottles over night and scrub them in the morning or evening after work? or do you guys recommend using oxy clean and how much ? also with the star san how do you measure ph level?
