Thanks for the advice. The pots are made of a thick felt that’s supposed to be breathable and keep the pots cooler than traditional pots.
I’ll plant some marigolds around the base. They are supposed to keep aphids away and will provide some shade for the roots

The best beer store in my area is kinda weird. When nugget nectar came out it was at customer service. if you didn't know it was released and to ask for it. You wouldn't get it.
I did 6 bottles of yeast in 300ml at 1.020 for 24 hours on stir plate.
Then poured 500ml at 1.030 right on top. After 24 hours into the fridge.
Decanted and 800ml at 1.040 for another 24 hours.
Decanted and pitched into 3gallons. Airlock had action 5 hours in and a nice krausen at 18 hours.
Should I start with RO or deionized?
I think I'll do another Oberon clone. I have the hops and specialty grains. Just need the 2 row and wheat. Then I can compare to the one I brewed Sunday.

Go to Brewers friend and put in your Malts and hops. There's an option for late additions to see what your IBUs will look like. It can change them a lot.
