Belgium Dark Strong Ale - Primeira tentativa

Hi, so to update once again, I bottled it today (21L) with the final density 1.004 . It had an "interesting" color (I'll take a photo but that's what I was expecting), the smell was quite pleasant and I'll be back here in about 3 weeks to report on the flavor.

Belgium Dark Strong Ale - Primeira tentativa

    Drosophila

I just want to inform you that I opened two bottles and that apparently the drosophila are just on the outside (as you said), the beer was great and there was no trace of "contamination" of any kind. Thank you all for your help

Bottles with stains on the walls

Hello, I just came to let you know that today I opened two of the bottles (I put them in the fridge yesterday) and they are great both in terms of aroma and flavor, so it was probably nothing major and as you said, they were just sediments that precipitated on the walls. In any case, thank you...

    Drosophila

Great, I feel much calmer knowing that it happened to you too and that there was no problem. Oh, okay. I knew that acetic bacteria had many origins, but I thought that in the case of beer, the origin was mainly due to drosophila, but in that case better. Thank you

Bottles with stains on the walls

I don't know when I'll be with the person who told me but I'll try to remember to ask him about it and then I'll come here and give the answer. I also thought it was normal since the brewing kit I bought the first time, the manual (in the bottling part) had a sentence about leaving the bottles...

    Drosophila

Thank you for the warning!!! The most certain thing is that the flies won't harm my next batch since they are where I store the bottles, the "manufacturing" process and the bottling I do elsewhere, so I should be more or less safe... Anyway, I'm going to prevent them and get rid of them as...

Bottles with stains on the walls

I hope that's all it is, the way the sediment settled, but I'll be careful when I open them They told me that 1 week turned upside down and I decided to try it, to be honest I don't know to what extent it can influence the beer but if I had to take a chance I would say it's for the area of...

    Drosophila

I had the idea that drosophilas were vectors of acetic bacteria, but apparently that was a wrong idea, thankfully Yes, the bottles are completely closed (with caps) Thank you for your help and I hope you're right (I don't doubt you) and that it's really just traces of beer on the outside of...

    Drosophila

Hi, I'm a newbie so the answer to my question may be obvious but for the sake of conscience I'll leave the question here anyway... 😅 I have some bottles finishing their second fermentation (priming) and today I remembered to take a look at them and noticed that I had some friends there...

Bottles with stains on the walls

By the way, I don't know if it has any influence but I would like to say that when I bottled I left the bottles all upside down for 1 week and then put them upright (something I was told to do)

Bottles with stains on the walls

Hello, I'm new to this (it's my second batch) and so I don't know if this is normal or not but I would really appreciate it if someone could clarify it for me. 😁 I bottled (and added sugar for priming) 2-3 weeks ago 30 bottles of 0.75L of a Belgium Tripel beer, at the time I bottled the beer it...

Belgium Dark Strong Ale - Primeira tentativa

Belgium Dark Strong Ale - Primeira tentativa

Belgium Dark Strong Ale - Primeira tentativa
