Did you bypass the temp controller and plug the fridge directly into the outlet? I had a similar issue recently. Seemed like it was a temporary malfunction of the same temp controller. Maybe the green light is on but power is not being sent to the freezer.

You can weld/JB weld a nut to the outside of the kettle and screw the eyebolt into it.

Thank you both for your feedback. It's good to know that boiling will reduce the alkalinity. One more question - Does mixing Star San with this water reduce its sanitizing ability? Thanks again!

Hey, another Correlano!! :rockin: Where are you? I'm off of Camino Arco Iris, west of Loma Larga. Just kegged an ESB. Actually an Imperial ESB. Grain bill was 14+ lbs. Spend way too much money at the Grain Hopper. Good guys there. Scott
