I'm starting to think that it may be overcarbed after doing some more reading. I was doing exactly what my experienced friend does and he doesn't have the same problem. Maybe different systems? I don't know.
Thanks
Thanks to all the people on this site for their excellent info and photos I was motivated to build a keezer and brewed my first ever beer several weeks ago. Its been in a 5 gallon corny keg in the keezer with the temp fluctuating between 1 & 3 degrees (celsius) to allow for any warming effect of...
I had no idea about the 'heat sink' concern. I should have the keezer up and running by mid-next week and I will monitor it closely. If necessary I will add a fan as you suggest. Thanks.
IslandLizard - there is a 3/4 spacing between cabinet sides and front. The rear is open. I purchased an external Ink Bird thermostat and an interior fan. Collar will be caulked and covered with rigid insulation. I hope that alleviates what you refer to as heat sink. What do you think?
Huh. It worked! Ok. Here is my question. I used casters as I plan on having the keezer on a hardwood floor and it seemed the right way to go. The casters raised it higher than I wanted and so I decided to uses a 2x2 collar. Unanticipated consequence - lid won't screw into collar. I will try...
Thanks for the reply guys. It is a keezer (small chest freezer) and I have room for 4-6 corny kegs. I have ordered a dual tower with perlick 650s. I would like to have a third keg ready to go in the rotation as one keg finishes so maybe the manifold is a good idea for a quick switch in and out.
Hi - New to the forum. Just starting a keezer build with a two keg tower system and trying to learn what parts to order. Is there a redundancy in ordering a Two Product Dual Pressure Kegerator CO2 Regulator and a
Gas Manifold, Beer Gas Distributor, CO2 Manifold (2-Way)? If only one item is...
