The cooler's always kept at 40. I use a heat wrap & thermowell with a Love temp controller for lager's. This makes lagers a breeze. I start them at 45, step up the temp over a few days to 50, let it sit for weeks, bump it to 60 for a few more days,

The cooler's always kept at 40. I use a heat wrap & thermowell with a Love temp controller for lager's. This makes lagers a breeze. I start them at 45, step up the temp over a few days to 50, let it sit for weeks, bump it to 60 for a few more days, then take it back down to 50. Rarely do I get any DMS and I never have to open the cooler to adjust the temps.
