I ferment in 7.9 gallon buckets with spigots. No secondaries. After 10 days to two weeks, I will spray the spigot a few times with starsan and rack into a sanitized keg that has been purged with CO2.
How do you know when the keg is fully purged and at what psi do you purge and for how long? I am going to be kegging for the first time in a week or 2. Will a 20oz co2 be enough for purging the keg and force carbing/ I have a picnik tap I'll be taking with me for serving?
