After days and days of looking at kegerators I finally decided to convert my 7 cu ft deep freezer to do the job. I purchased a PLC and touchscreen from automation direct. I also purchased a thermocouple input car and analog input card. I can monitor 4 different temperatures (cooler, tower, keg & outside air temp). I also picked up two 0-10v pressure transmitters 0-30psi and 0-3000 psi. This will allow me to monitor the co2 pressure to my tower and bottle pressure.
As you can see I did all the programming myself since I do it for a living. I can control my cooler temp within a 1.2 degree range.
