I haven't measured it against another thermometer so I don't know how accurate it is. I tried it last weekend and it seemed to work fine. I should have looked for a temperature strip that measures a wider range of temperature. But, it tells me if the temp is in the ballpark for ales so it works for me. Plus, if I find a better temperature strip it will be very easy and cheap to replace.
