ahh... I don't even know where to begin to ask... what the heck is that?? It looks cool! But would like more detail in what its for, how it works, etc. Impressive.

haha, it's wort getting chilled after the boil in the summer. Boil Kettle -> Hopback -> pump -> counter flow chiller -> post-chiller -> fermenters. This was an Imperial Pilsner...boiling to 45F in a single pass at full pump flow.
