Thats an odd way of diving. I'm guessing your only a few feet down, maybe 10-12? And the line is hooked up to the boat?
I woudnt do that personally. But thats just me, I'm used to having a tank on my back with others around in case something goes wrong.
But I guess thats one way to dive down there with out having to get certified.

Snuba is great fun, and a great way to introduce people to the under water world. As A certified Rescue Diver myself, I do prefer Scuba, but you wouldn't expect a buddy to buy a $5000 brew rig to try home brew, you'd take him a 6 pack. SNUBA is like the 6 pack.
Having said that, blowing bubbles is blowing bubbles, and it's all better than being at work.
