Brewhead gave me the idea of saving yeast. I don't save it from the secondary, I build big starters, splitting off what I need for the brew and stepping up the rest to split off into three 22 oz. Corona bottles after the fermentation is finished.

Can you tell me a little more about how you save this yeast? When and how, and how much you grab, how long you store it, and how you step it up again to re-pitch. If you don't feel like answering all these details, thats OK. I'm just interested and am sick of buying yeast for each brew! Thanks
