I used my 4" angle grinder w/ a cutting wheel and it wasn't fast or easy... takes a good 10 mins or so.. I'm assuming w/ a dremel its only 50 times longer

To the guy above, it took me about < 1 min to cut through my keg with a 4" angle grinder. I think you may have had the wrong cutting wheel.
