This is a 22 quart stock pot with 20 quarts of water that is boiling using a 1800 watt Max Burton induction cook top. It took 80 min. to achieve a rolling boil. The insulation is made by cutting up an automotive solar shade I got on clearance at Walmart for $6.

i've been toying with induction too, you got a better result than me, took an hour to heat up 5 gals. Looks like your pot is bigger than the plate too, like mine, wonder if you can get these with a large plate surface area.
