Funny how all those Caribbean destinations brew Lagers...in the hottest weather known to man

I toured this brewery in Barbados and tasted their beers at the end. They werent that impressive and yes as BigKahuna said all the islands have their own lager. Banks, Pitons, Modella, etc. are all a weak skunky lager

It's probably because it doesn't take great beer to enjoy beer in the Caribbean! I'd be satisfied drinking Corona if I was sitting on a white sand beach, staring at a crystal clear ocean!

All the Caribbean beers are great while you're there. Buy a sixer of Red Stripe after you get back and it's not the same.
