Clean bottles are stored in a clean tight cabinet until needed. If there are bottles in the cabinet, I need to brew, if the cabinet is empty, I need to stop.

I steep grains in an open grain bag so the water can circulate more freely. I put grains in cold water then heat up to desired temp and hold for appropriate time

Myhumblebrewsetupforgrainextractbrewing

I'm in a tri-level with no basement and don't want to give up my garage so I brew in the sunporch next to the hottub, pretty much year round. All grain and kegging probably won't be practical in this house.
