Glass etching my carboys

Glass etching a carboy is super easy. I have a buddy who owns a sign shop. He's enjoyed plenty of my homebrew, so I asked him if he'd make me a bunch of numbered stencils. I cleaned my carboys really good with glass cleaner, put the stencils on, then masked them off, and then applied the etching paste for about 2 minutes. I rinsed the carboy off really good in the sink and took the stencils/masking tape off. Turned out better than I thought! I got the etching paste from Hobby Lobby. I got the 10 oz. bottle, ($19!!), but no way you'd ever need that much unless you want to do 10 carboys. The next smaller bottle ($9) will be enough for 3 or 4 carboys. Try it! It's easy!
