48 hours in had to open my bucket.

I wasn't getting any bubbles in my airlock. I open my bucket to see if I have any krausen. there were no bubbles in there just the ring around as you can see in the picture. do you think I have anything to worry about or should I just let it go for another 2 weeks?

I would wait, a lot of the time the activity is below the surface and everything looks good on top. I forgot which beer I made, but it sat for a while with nothing visible and then exploded on the morning of the third day with tons of activity.

I have had similar issues. i shook the ferementer a few good times several times a day... got things excited and got the job done.
