Here is the end of the cross-cable. I just clipped it right to the fence rather than anchoring it with a stake in the ground or a heavy weight. The cable and all it's attaching hardware were purchased in one package as a "dog run" system (for letting your dog roam the back yard while still being leashed.) It just so happened to have a lot of the parts I wanted and the price was right. There is also about 75 more feet of the cable that I didn't use yet. This will come in handy when I need to add more guy lines for wind durability, and also when I need to make the lines longer when the uprights get taller next season.
