This shows where the anchor sleeve is driven into the earth. It's a 1" galvanized pipe, 24" long. I simply hammered it into the ground, which mushroomed the end over quite a bit but that's not such a bad thing. The 1/2" black iron upright slides in easily and can be removed at harvest time.
