Well should i add some or just let it ride out with no nutrient? Thinking of making a short mead or something 6-7%. using a white wine yeast, forget what it is but its dry.

I get better results with nutrient than without, for my 6% ciders.

I'm guessing Premier Blanc or Cote des Blancs?

    Any yeast will be dry.

I recommend properly rehydrating with Go-Ferm and using Fermaid O, staggered. 2 additions would probably be fine at that ABV.

Wyeast beer nutrient is not a great substitute.

I use the wyeast nutrient for my beers, wines, ciders and meads. For meads (1gallon batches) I add 1 tsp at pitch, another 1/2tsp 2 days later and usually another 1/2 tsp at day 3 or 4.
