Wort chiller wort it?

    Went through my first brew with out one. Wondered whether its worth the money and if so any recommendation on a certain one.

    Wouldn't brew without one...made my own for about $30.

    coppertubingsales dot com has nice bundles for building one, it's pretty easy.

    Buddy of mine built his for about the same price, all materials coming from Home Depot. We spent no more than 10 minutes putting it together (literally we did it while the boil was taking place). I don't have one yet, since it's easy enough to cool 3gal of wort in the sink. As soon as I start doing full boils, I'll be getting one.

    Chilling the wort quickly is very important. Since you are probably doing 5 gallon batches an Immersion Chiller works the best and there are some good deals on eBay for those.
