the probe on the end of my temp controller looks like a thermocouple. If i were to keep my controller in my freezer will it give erroneous readings because all parts of the circuit are at the same temp? Or will it be fine. I'm just worried to test it because i dont want to freeze my beer solid if it does stop reading correctly.

It will be fine. It wouldn't be much of a temp controller if it needed a constant temp to be accurate, would it?
