Who's on Twitter?

I am. I am a huge fan, especially following all of the breweries/bars around D.C. They use twitter to announce new beers they have on tap and special beers they have coming.

The other micro-breweries use it to promote new beers coming out, and even my LHBS announces new hops and ingredients they just got in!

 

This is the ony reason I would join twitter. But I have no bars like this in my town, so no. I'm even taking a March Hiatus from FB because of my online dependency.

 

NOT on facebook or twitter... Don't have any plans of getting onto either of them... ever...

I don't do anything very exciting most of the time, so IF I was on twitter, it would be pretty barren... I've thought about building a BLOG site though. More for the fun of building the server than actually posting up content. Yeah, I'm a sick motherforker... :rockin:

I joined twitter just so I could follow North Park Brewing so I could ask for his collaboration session beer he did with Stone.

I started with Stone they said they couldn't give it out but that North Park was on Twitter and was known to give it out to people that followd him. So I signed, asked for it and he gave it to me.

 

Wow, that's awesome

 

How do you have time for fb when you're on here 16 hrs a day?

Use it daily but rarely tweet. Good for getting info quickly. @2ndstage

I don't really know how to utilize it yet, but I like the news stuff and just checking in randomly every couple days.

 

Why do people hate twitter and fb so much? I don't "tweet" but I use twitter to get updates and read ridiculous Charlie Sheen comments for entertainment. Just because some people overuse it and let us know every second of their boring a$$ life doesn't mean you have to follow those people. You can use it how you want to use it and only get the info you want.

Ithaca was one of my goto breweries when I lived up in that neck of the woods!
