Anyways i'm building a fermenting chamber and I've read forums and got confused on which is correct wiring. on their webpage it shows 2 Wiring configurations. Which one is correct?

    Wiring Config #1

    Or

    Wiring Config #2

Thanks in advance for any help!

Both will work, but #2 is just dumb and bad practice. You don't switch the neutral.

Definately #1. Like Passedpawn said, #2 is bad practice, and here's why. If you break the neutral (white wire), the power will go off to the device (outlet), BUT, there will still be a hot wire that is not broken. If somehow the device (keezer) contacts a ground, the device is HOT again.

If you break the hot (black) wire, no such risk exists.
