I just acquired a used True TDD-3 kegerator and think that the inside rocker switch turns on an internal light which isn't there but there appears to be a white plug near this switch that I think holds an incandescent bulb of some kind since the specs say there is an internal incandescent light. Anyone with a TDD-3 out there that can point me in the direction of getting an internal light for this thing? I've put it in an area w/o very good lighting and am using a flashlight to see inside whenever I need to!

Hope you found the part you were looking for, if not it is true part # 801112

    801112 - Lamp, 115v 25T10 25w incandescent with tuff-skin coating.

I see them vary in range from $20 to $30 online.

If you found a better price please let me know as I am in need of one also.

Actually I needed the socket itself which is part number 801266, the light being 801112. I've ordered it from a local distributor but haven't gotten it yet.

I may have the same socket issue, got my new bulb yesterday, but it still does not light up.

Please let me know how the socket install goes for you. Looks like quite a bit of screw removal.

    Thanks for the part number.

Screw removal? I don't have any screws on mine. I have a white plastic oblong thingy with 2 female plug holes (like on a standard wall outlet but differently sized) just hanging there w/no screws or anything. The light socket just snaps on as far as I can tell from the picture of the thing (I still haven't gotten it yet). I have a year 2000 model of kegerator. I think the current ones have lights on the doors. I initially posted just to figure out what this thingy was but figured I'd call True a couple days later when no one replied. I was correct - it is for an internal light.

Ahhh I see the clips you are talking about now. I was thinking you were going to have to talk off the entire shroud piece behind the tower holes.

My light does not work either, but I am not sure if it is the socket, the switch or the wiring. Guess I will have to remove the shroud and get the volt meter out.
