    Hey,

I bought a new expensive hydrometer. The 1.000 SG mark is 14.5" high and I can't find a high enough test jar anywhere on the internet. I would need it to be at least 15" tall, as I mainly need it to monitor very low SG's for the final steps of a SLOW cider and perry fermentation.

Anyone now where to find a tall hydrometer test jar?

    Simon

I use the tube my finishing hydrometer was shipped in. The tube is narrow so it needs to be hand held to keep it free of the sides.

    Seems like over doing it.
Right click on the URL you want to copy, then select copy from drop down.
In the post reply box, right click, then select paste from drop down.
