    I know I saw one somewhere, I think a brew supply that advertizes on here. Darn, just can't remember where I saw it. need to add one to my Christmas list

    Picked one up at Bed Bath and Beyond last weekend. Not real impressed with quality of the bulb though

    Extracting a sample from my fermenter for checking final SG. I need a long 18'" one to get in that deep.

    Your best bet would be to get a wine thief from your brewing supplier. They are relatively inexpensive and break apart into 3 sections for easy cleaning. I have no idea what a SS turkey baster would cost, but I promise this will be cheaper!
    You just lower it in to the fermenter, put your thumb over the top and pull the beer out and release it into your test tube.
