I'm making a northern brown ale tomorrow and recipe calls for 2 lbs of Dark brown sugar (for 10 gallons). Does it matter when I add it as long as it's 15 mins. or so before end of boil, or should I add it to BK while sparging?
    Thanks, RK

I'd say end of boil and stir well, no clumps.

I'd add it to the fermenter as fermentation slows down. Dissolve in boiling water, cool and add.
