    Anyone using Roadrunner......Do NOT buy your own modem just so they can shove their new modem rental fee up their anus. My speed was usually 30 mbps until I got my own modem. That brought me to their attention and I am stuck at precisely 16 mbps all the time.

    Blah. I don't know why my upload speed sucks so much. Too many devices on the wi-fi maybe.

    Ive never rented a modem, but running this test reminds me that I'm paying for 20 Mb/s down but only getting 15

    It's their Turbo option. I also have a gigabit speed router with cat6 cable. Computer is probably about as fast as a home build can get also with dual ethernet ports.

    It's a temporary upgrade for me. Last year I used their lite version, about 1.2 mb down. 0.5 up

    My Internet speed test results are,
    Download Speed: 18.89 Mbps
    Upload Speed:0.795 Mbps.
