What will my ABV be

    An oatmeal stout. The instructions said the Original SG would be 1.048. I did not take a reading. It only fermented down to 1.010. I presume the ABV will be very low. How much will it be.

    Assuming you hit your OG of 1.048, your ABV would be 5%.

    even if the ending SG was only 1.010?

    The formula for estimating ABV is: (OG-FG) x 131= % of alcohol by volume.

    So, in your case, (1.048- 1.010) x 131= 4.98%
